First ever was a paper round in Fetcham where I used to live

In a couple of sentences, can you tell us a bit about your job at Christie Finance?

My role is to assist my clients by securing financing and providing expert advice on the most advantageous methods to do so. I listen to my clients goals and then engage with lenders to devise the most effective way for achieving them.

What’s your favourite thing about Christie Finance?

The culture and support I get from the entire company. There's a genuine sense of teamwork and everybody is willing to help.

What's a favourite project that you’ve worked on at Christie Finance so far?

My favourite project would be my first completion I had for my client by raising a bridge to purchase a commercial investment unit up in Scotland, I have a happy client and now helping finance the rest of his portfolio.

What’s been the biggest challenge of your career so far? 

Biggest challenge is navigating the ever changing landscape of regulations and market conditions. Regulations constantly evolving and market trends shifting, staying up to date and adapting strategies accordingly can be a challenging task. Requires continuous learning to help support my clients.

What’s been a highlight of your career so far? 

Highlight of my career is being consistent and being able to deliver results, whether as a BDM from a previous company and hitting my target or as a broker and getting a completion where another broker has let them down.

How has the industry changed since you started at Christie Finance? 

The industry is always changing, since being at Christie Finance I have seen products changed / pulled on an almost weekly basis. Recently I have seen interest rates decrease across BTL and Bridging lenders which is a positive step in the right direction.

Tell us a bit about your life outside work – what are your hobbies? 

Hobbies involve, UFC & boxing – I will always catch a big fight and will be chatting about it in the office or with clients. Also a big F1 fan and rooting for Mercedes to make a come back this year.

Where’s the best place you’ve been on holiday? 

Best place I have been would be Antwerp, Belgium. If you’re a fan of Belgium beer like I am it’s the place to be.

What’s your biggest pet peeve? 

People chewing with their mouths open

If you could live and work in any city, where would you go? 

New York – my favourite city in the world and love visiting over Christmas.

Gladiator

What is one thing on your bucket list? 

To go sky diving in Dubai over the Palm
