Where were you when you accepted your role at Christie Finance?

Recently just moved into our new house

What was your first job? 

Kitchen Porter

In a couple of sentences, can you tell us a bit about your job at Christie Finance? 

My role at Christie Finance is to deliver a high-quality consultancy service to our clients across various sectors. Ensuring we can deliver a gold standard service for our clients and achieve the best deals for our clients whether that is Unsecured loans or asset finance deals.

What’s your favourite thing about Christie Finance? 

The team which I work with in Chester and being a leading provider across various sectors.

What's a favourite project that you’ve worked on at Christie Finance so far? 

Providing a locum pharmacist with their first purchase on their own pharmacy store which cost £350,000 and the client only had up to £25,000 deposit to put forward.

What’s been the biggest challenge of your career so far? 

Coming into the finance industry from a healthcare background.

What’s been a highlight of your career so far? 

Being promoted to Senior Finance Consultant within a year of being a Consultant.

How has the industry changed since you started at Christie Finance? 

The lending appetite I have found has increased.

Who in your industry do you feel most inspired by? 

Joe Carden, as he has come from a Junior Consultant role like myself. He has consistently exceeded target year on year, and this is something I tend to replicate.

Tell us a bit about your life outside work – what are your hobbies? 

I love playing golf, watching Liverpool football club, playing football and competing in hybrid exercise events like Hyrox.

What’s your hometown? 

Liverpool

Where’s the best place you’ve been on holiday? 

Cancun, Mexico

If you could live and work in any city, where would you go? 

I would like to spend time in Asia or Australia if I was to work abroad

What would be your desert island meal? 

Christmas Roast dinner.

What’s your favourite film? 

Hacksaw ridge

Tell us your favourite joke / What is your favourite movie quote? 

“some of you may die, but it’s a sacrifice I am willing to make”

What is one thing on your bucket list? 

To travel to Asia (which I am doing in September!)
