  • When did you join Christie Finance?

    September 2024

  • Where were you when you accepted your role at Christie Finance?

    At my parents house, having just walked through the door after getting home from the interview

  • What was your first job?

    My first job was within a marquee construction team, mainly putting up marquees for weddings and big parties. My first job within the industry was at Clifton Private Finance as a Finance Broker.

  • In a couple of sentences, can you tell us a bit about your job at Christie Finance?

    I provide funding solutions for clients looking to invest in or raise capital from investment property. This covers all types of property, from residential to commercial.

  • What’s your favourite thing about Christie Finance?

    The size of the group & complexities of the sectors means that no one knows it all.

  • What's a favourite project that you’ve worked on at Christie Finance so far?

    A golf course development in the north of England.

  • What’s been the biggest challenge of your career so far?

    Looking for a new job whilst also moving from Cardiff to London.

  • What’s been a highlight of your career so far?

    My first sizeable loan completion felt pretty good.

  • How has the industry changed since you started at Christie Finance?

    Rates have not come down as much or as quickly as a lot of people expected, so appetite to invest has become largely unpredictable.

  • Who in your industry do you feel most inspired by?

    My CF colleagues, who seem to never stop working.

  • Tell us a bit about your life outside work – what are your hobbies?

    Playing/watching sport. Mainly cricket and rugby. I also enjoy keeping fit and socialising.

  • What’s your hometown? Where do you live now?

    I was raised in north Dorset and now live in south London.

  • Where’s the best place you’ve been on holiday?

    Noosa, Australia

  • If you could live and work in any city, where would you go?

    Sydney

  • What would be your desert island meal?

    A full roast dinner, followed by tiramisu

  • What’s your favourite film?

    Hot Fuzz or Good Will Hunting
