Day nursery operator expands into the South West and develops portfolio through Christie Finance
Commercial finance specialist, Christie Finance has supported Kiddi Galore, a successful nursery operator, to purchase Honeybee’s Day Nursery and Pre-School in Willand, Devon, with our sister company Christie & Co arranging the sale.
Kiddi Galore was set up by Amanda Westie who is a highly experienced operator and is qualified in the child development industry.
Amanda is passionate about providing high-quality care. She discovered her first opportunity when having her own children and noticed a high demand in the market. Amanda took over an OFSTED-rated ‘Good’ nursery in Salisbury, Kiddi Galore, and expanded the nursery to a 65-place setting providing childcare between the ages of 0-5 years.
Amanda is now looking to develop her portfolio and has favoured a move further into the South West, identifying Honeybee’s Day Nursery and Pre-School as her next acquisition opportunity.
Honeybee’s Day Nursery and Pre School sits in a rural setting within the Northern region of Collumpton, located between Exeter and Taunton. The nursery, which has continued to grow in occupancy since being built in 2015, is registered for 70 children and is also OFTED-rated ‘Good’.
