Learning disability care home in Leicestershire has new owners
Specialist commercial finance broker, Christie Finance has assisted first-time buyers with securing funding to purchase Apple House Care Home in Wigston, Leicestershire.
The Care Home is long-established with eight residents and specialises in caring for adults with learning disabilities. The previous owners were retiring from the sector and placed the business up for sale through specialist property adviser, Christie & Co.
The new owners, Mohsin & Shahina Vali, are first time entrants to the sector but have many transferable skills to take the business forward. Shahina had previously obtained sector experience managing an elderly residential care home in Coventry.
Stuart Pawelczyk, Associate Director at Christie Finance, helped arranged the funding for the purchase. He said. "Activity in the care sector continues at unprecedented levels. At Christie Finance we have helped numerous first-time buyers and existing operators in the last few months to access the most competitive funding packages that are available from the market."
